Additional Disk Space on your server allows you to store additional data for your web sites, email boxes, and database data. You can also store log files, and make/store your own backups locally for longer periods of time when you have extra disk space available.

For dedicated servers, you have the option of increased size of your main hard drive, or adding a second hard drive. Both will gain you additional disk space; however, a second disk drive has the added benefit of optionally being configured to mirror the main disk drive (for added backup protection) or simply for larger data storage options.
