TurnKey Internet offers flexible bandwidth packages and network ports to fit any need. The Port Speed of your server refers to the maximum speed at any given time through which data may travel. For instance a 10 Mbit port speed, means, that you can transmit up to 10 Mbit of data per second. All TurnKey Internet ports are dedicated, meaning you do not share them with other servers or customers.

Selecting a higher port speed will permit your server to transmit traffic (to more people at once) and can be very valuable to web sites which have busy peak traffic periods or many visitors at once.

NOTE: if you select an un-metered 10 Mbit 'bandwidth package' your port speed will be set to 10 Mbit regardles of what port speed you select.
