In-Row Precision Cooling
TurnKey's datacenter employs in-rack temperature sensors that regulate climate control via our Emerson precision spot-cooling systems.
Precision-based cooling is automatically and intelligently distributed in the exact amount and location required to maintain optimal cooling and humidification levels for our computing equipment. Unlike traditional datacenters, our cooling systems intelligently distribute cooling in an efficient manner to minimize power consumption.
Smart Aisle & Cold Containment Systems
TurnKey's datacenter employs Cold Containment Pods for each section of its datacenter, providing the ultimate in precision spot-cooling and efficiency.
This technology drastically lowers the power consumption foot-print of our datacenter as compared to traditional datacenters, or running computer equipment in your own office. We utilize customized HVAC economizers to leverage the cold temperatures of the northeast into reliable HVAC energy during the winter months, further increasing our efficiencies.

Redundant Power Systems
TurnKey's datacenter utilizes several layers of redundant power to ensure continous clean power delivery direct to each server. Our Emerson in-row UPS systems provide continous protection and clean, regulated power to be delivered at all times. Utilizing our Power Bus Bar high voltage system (shown in the first photo above the racks), we can deliver any type of power service by simply changing out breakers for each rack, regardless of what type of power service you may need. Our Power Bus Bar offers multiple, redundant-path-circuit-breaker delivery of power right to each rack. Our on-site diesel generator and additional external diesel fuel tank, allow the facility to operate up to 48 hours (and indefinitely beyond that, with our multiple local emergency delivery diesel service contractors we employ) independently of all utility grid power without interruption of service to our datacenter.
Redundant High Speed Network Connections
Providing the highest quality Internet connectivity and performance is our top priority. We have selected premium Tier-1 bandwidth providers, ensuring minimal latency and fast connections across the globe. Our datacenter has multiple fiber optic fiber carriers (both underground, and aerial, out of multiple diverse paths from our facility). We operate Dark Fiber to 2 carrier hotels in New York, offering connectivity in excess of 200 Gbps. Our Juniper routers provide our border network connectivity utilizing BGP4 for redundant and optimal route access to our Internet backbone carriers. All of these components provide the reliability and redundancy that is the foundation behind our
100% Network Uptime Guarantee.
Security On-Site
TurnKey Internet's datacenter was a former U.S. Government building that was purchased by TurnKey in 2010. It is made to U.S. Federal Government standards, with 1-foot thick concrete along the perimeter, plus additional re-inforced walls and security enhancements. We have installed advanced security systems, and infrared based surveilance monitoring cameras. Employees all undergo background screening, and clients are not permitted within the facility except with photo ID and escorted by trained security personnel at all times.
Solar Power
Our advanced on-site roof-top solar array provides clean, pollution-free power. Every square inch of our roof is covered with solar panels, creating a massive clean energy-producing power plant. Hydro Electric Power (Coming 2012)
Clean, renewable power is transmitted straight from New York's Niagara Falls Hydro-Electric system which is used to supplement our solar energy production.
