1) What hardware do you use?

We only use genuine 100% enterprise-class servers, owned by us and hosted in our own green datacenter located in New York. Our servers are fully optimized and loaded with the latest operating system and software you select at checkout.

2) What control panels and operating systems are available?

We offer your choice of Linux or Windows, in just about every flavor possible. You can select the operating system (and control panel) options for your server at checkout. If you don't see the version or option you require, please Contact Us and let us know and we usually can accommodate any customized software request. We offer control panel installation, setup and licensing for cPanel, Plesk and DirectAdmin, as well as licensing for WHMCS (popular for web hosting companies), and you can select these at checkout.

3) What support is included with my Server?

We provide support for hardware issues, network issues and anything relating to the physical hardware of the server. You have access to reboot your server at any time through the TurnKey Internet Customer Care web site. We also offer managed service plans that you can choose at sign-up which include additional support elements such as hardening your server, setting up a firewall, troubleshooting and customizing server software components such as Apache, IIS, Mail, MySQL and anything part of the operating system. Depending on which package or service plan you select, this may be included or a low cost optional upgrade.

4) Do you provide backups?

We offer fully automated bare-metal backups via our R1soft backup system. Depending on which package or service plan you select, this may be included or a low cost optional upgrade. The R1Soft baremetal CDP remote backup system offers full snapshot, versioning, roll-back and bare metal restore capabilities via an easy-to-use web interface for secure and fully automated access to your backups.

5) How soon will my account be ready?

All new orders are subject to approval by our billing department and may require additional details to process your order. Orders are provisioned within 1 to 3 business days if your order is placed, paid and approved by the billing department prior to 1 PM (EST). We do offer expedited provisioning in our order form if you need to move quickly from your current provider today.
